Your calling as a soldier of God and the holy march around the last stronghold keeping your family from thriving with Christ.
Joshua 6:2-5
2 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in. 6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it.” 7 And he ordered the army, “Advance! March around the city, with an armed guard going ahead of the ark of the Lord.”
The march around Jericho can be exhausting or even confusing at times. Did you notice how they had the ark of the covenant with them? The presence of the Most High is with you for the march around your Jericho for the sake of your children. This is some deep dive right now about some tough parenting truths when it comes to the kids with the toughest trials and behaviors. These are some tough truths that myself along with many other foster parents have dealt with. But, it's YOUR Jericho. Notice how God already said that it's been given into their hands? The situtaion is already given into your hands by God as victory. Did you feel God's call when you started fostering? Adopting? Becoming a mother or father? He's still with you there. The enemy will make you focus on how hard and exhausting the march is, however, like mentioned before; it's already been given to you by God as victory.
Maybe your kid is getting bad grades, getting constant detention at school, struggling with their "foster goals", struggling with just being a good person, or they are currently really rejecting Jesus. These kids will eventually come to see God. Especially when God has been living through you with you as a godly example. Believe it or not, you are designed for this march. You got this! Keep on praying, reading scripture, go to Christian support groups, keep yourself in community with people that make you grow, even consider looking into a short-term fast to pray a breakthrough for strongholds.

Lord, I pray for the exhausted mother or father behind this screen. Strengthen your soldier and prepare them for the best victory battle for the sake of their children and household. You have called them, loved them, sanctified them, and bought them by Your blood. They have been called for such a time as this. Give them the strength and the faith, Father, to pray over their household and in each room of their house. Give them discernment, wisdom, your truth and overall undertsanding to march faithfully for You. Let them have intimacy with you personally in this time and truly bless them with Your love. Let their Jericho's walls be turned down. In Jesus' Name we pray! Amen.
